Non-Rated Walls
Provide <Select Desired Height: ½”, 1 3/4”, or 3 ½”> tall extruded PVC GDW moisture guard: installed continuously

1-Hour Fire Rated Walls
Provide 1/2" tall extruded PVC GDW moisture guard: installed continuously at floor level of all 1-Hour Fire Rated walls.  Go to www.KeepsDrywallDry.com or www.Waterguard-USA.com for additional information or to purchase.

2-Hour Fire Rated Walls
Provide 1/2" tall extruded PVC GDW moisture guard: installed continuously at floor level of each layer of GDW on all 2-Hour Fire Rated walls and once the wall assembly is constructed, place a bead of caulk (latex, acrylic, silicone, polymer, or similar materials-not necessarily listed "fire caulk") at floor level against the outer most layer of moisture guard.  Go to www.KeepsDrywallDry.com or www.Waterguard-USA.com for additional information or to purchase.

Note to Specifier:

• Please be sure and leave the web address in the specification as this is where the contractor will order the material.
• Save money and time by eliminating the caulk.  There is no caulk required at the floor level when using Waterguard unless it is a 2-Hour assembly in which case a bead of caulk is required on the outer layer on each side of the wall.
